We try to be a little different in our approach to creating our boards.  We seek out lumber that would usually end up being ground into mulch,  carted to landfills, or simply chopped up into firewood.  Please note that we are not "anti-mulch" or "firewood haters."  As far as the landfills go, we're still wrestling with that one!  This beautiful board is a great example of why we created our business.  We take great pride in creating beautiful and functional hand-crafted boards from "orphaned" trees.  This beautiful board has it all... light-shaded flamed sapwood, dark-grained heartwood.  Quality Black metal handles work perfectly with the simple elegant lines of this board.
